MY HOME DURING FASHION WEEK

With Easter Holidays around the corner, I would love to tell you about my experience in the Eurostars during NY and Paris Fashion Weeks. Both hotels with light and super comfortable and giant beds were I slept like a baby and did not want never to leave. In New York we stayed at the Dylan Hotel in Manhattan, facing the world ‘s largest train station, Grand Central Terminal, and the MoMA and the Fifth Avenue stores also form part of our neighborhood (best location ever!) . The building is very emblematic, first having been the residence of the Welsh writer, Dylan Thomas and later, the headquarters of the New York Pharmacists Club. It combines the classical lounges and guest rooms of the period with ambiances and areas in contemporary design. In Paris we stayed at the Paris Exe Centre Hotel, small but cute, new and centrally located. Their delicious coffees and croissants were craftsmen our daily dose of strength for a non-stop day. Also, one of the best things is that there are Spanish staff in each hotel chain and the treatment is amazing. You feel like you’re at home, despite the miles. Enjoy your holidays! xx

Con la Semana Santa a la vuelta de la esquina, no podía dejar de contaros mi experiencia en los hoteles Eurostars que han sido mi casa durante la Fashion Week de Nueva York y de Paris. Ambos con muchísima luz y camas súper cómodas y gigantes en las que dormías como un bebé y no querías salir nunca. En Nueva York nos quedamos en el Hotel Dylan en Manhattan, situado frente a la estación de tren más grande en el mundo, la Grand Central Terminal, las tiendas del MOMA y la Quinta Avenida (¡mejor ubicación imposible!). Se trata de un edificio emblemático que fue, primero, residencia del escritor británico Dylan Thomas y, posteriormente, sede del Club de Farmacéuticos de Nueva York. Combina las salas clásicas y las habitaciones de la época con diseño contemporáneo, y sus desayunos-buffet frente a la chimenea del Benjamin Steakhouse Grill eran un sueño y el mayor momento de relajación del día.

En Paris nos alojamos en el Exe Paris Centre, un hotel completamente nuevo, pequeñito pero coqueto y céntrico (muy cerca de Gare Saint Lazare). Nos encantaba desayunar en la cama cuando teníamos que trabajar frente al ordenador antes de salir a un desfile. Sus riquísimos croissants artesanos y cafés eran nuestras dosis diarias de fuerza para un día non-stop. Además, una de las mejores cosas es que en cada hotel de la cadena hay personal español y el trato es de diez. Te hacen sentir como si estuvieses en casa, a pesar de los kilómetros de distancia. Vayáis donde vayáis en vuestras próximas vacaciones, pasarlo fenomenal y elegid un hotel coqueto y con encanto como estos 😉
